The full power of a brand promise is condensed in a claim.

Claims or slogans can be as diverse as the language in which they are written. Some arise from a direct positive brand experience and find their form in a well-known saying. Others are derived from a very specific competitive advantage. Whatever form they take, claims are perfect tools to differentiate, to sharpen the profile of a brand, to put emotion into words. A good claim captures the essence of a company and explains why it is unique in an entertaining way. 

The development of an effective claim is very close to art. Despite all the important strategic preparatory work, it is the flash of inspiration and the idea that makes the difference. 

A claim always works in two directions. Outwards, towards the consumers a brand wants to reach.  And inwards, to the company and its employees. Quite a few of our claims have become part of the everyday language used by our customers' employees. Like ‘Have sun!’ from IBC SOLAR. This claim is now the company's established call to action.
